Yoplait Asana crowned best all Canadian product of the 17th Canadian Grand Prix New Products Awards
Longueuil, June 1, 2010. - Eight months after its launch on the Canadian market, Yoplait Asana won the best all Canadian Product Award that recognizes the benefit of this innovative yogurt created especially for women 40 and older.
Organized by the Canadian Council of Grocery Distributors CCGD, the awards recognize the 160 newcomers in 26 food and non-food product categories. A 32-member panel comprising of a cross-section of consumers, food editors, journalists, advertising executives, packaging designers and CCGD distributor members judged the competition.
Each entry in the Grand Prix competition was graded on five criteria: uniqueness and innovation, product characteristics, presentation and packaging, overall consumer value, and consumer acceptance.

On top of winning the best all Canadian Product award, Yoplait Asana captured special awards in the Dairy and Egg Products category and for Innovative Packaging for its 650g tub.
