The therapeutic properties of tea have been recognized for many centuries in
Asian countries, but Western science has only been interested in them for a few
decades.
In fact, green tea contains many compounds with antioxidant activity. In
particular, it contains catechins, which are part of the bigger polyphenol
family. The extracts used in Yoptimal® come from
different varieties of tea cultivated in China and are harvested from Camillia
sinensis plant.
Furthermore, the green-tea extracts we use is three times more concentrated than
a bag of green tea.
