Why can’t I find my preferred Yoplait product or flavour?

Sorry to hear it’s hard to find your favourite! With the constant introduction of new yogurt products and flavours, competition in the yogurt aisle can result in loss of distribution for some flavours. While we’re continuously working on improving distribution on our end, we recommend you let the manager of your usual yogurt retailer know which Yoplait flavours you would like to purchase in their store.

Where can I find coupons for Yoplait products?

Yoplait offers many promotions giving consumers an opportunity to obtain a free product or purchase a product at a reduced rate using a discount certificate. These offers may appear on our product packages or our website. We encourage you to also check out save.ca and consult weekly flyers.

Why does Yoplait use gelatin in some products?

Yoplait adds gelatin to certain products to provide the consistency and texture that consumers of these products expect. Yoplait only uses beef-derived gelatin. Many Yoplait products contain no gelatin, such as Minigo, Tubes, Yop, Source Greek and Yoplait Whole milk.

Are Yoplait products kosher?

Some Yoplait Canada products are certified kosher, including Minigo Pouches, Minigo Drinkable, Yop (Banana, Blueberry, Cherry, Peach, Raspberry, Strawberry/Banana, Strawberry, and Vanilla), and Tubes (Peach/Blueberry, Raspberry/Banana, Raspberry/Grape). Look for the letters MK within a circle on the container, denoting certification by Rabbi Saul Emanuel of the Jewish Community Council of Montreal.

Do all Yoplait products contain probiotic cultures?

While all Yoplait yogurt products contain live bacteria, only specific bacteria are considered by Health Canada to be probiotic. In terms of Yoplait products, only Minigo Fresh Cheese and Minigo Pouches contain the specific types of bacteria that are recognized by Health Canada as probiotic.

Are Yoplait products gluten-free?

We recommend consumers with food sensitivities check the ingredient list on the package to determine if the product is suitable. Only products that have the gluten-free claim on their package have undergone extensive ingredient, manufacturing and product analysis to ensure they are gluten-free. However, we employ rigorous cleaning measures and processes to reduce the risk of spreading allergens.

Are Yoplait products free of peanuts and/or tree nuts?

We recommend that consumers with food sensitivities check the ingredient list on the package to determine if the product is suitable. Products that contain peanuts and/or tree nuts will mention them in the ingredient list and highlight the fact in a “Contains” statement on the product package. For products that do not contain peanuts and/or or tree nuts, but where there is risk of cross-contact with peanuts and/or tree nuts, this risk would be highlighted in a “May Contain” statement on the product package.

Why do some Yoplait products contain artificial sweeteners, such as sucralose?

Sweeteners let us deliver delicious flavour without adding calories. Consumers seeking yogurt products without artificial sweeteners can choose between Yoplait Creamy, Yoptimal, Minigo, Tubes, Yop, Source multipacks, and select Source and Greek multipacks (sweetened with Stevia, a naturally sourced sweetener).

Does the milk used in Yoplait products contain growth hormones or antibiotics?

The fresh milk used in Yoplait products is sourced from Canadian dairy farmers and is free of growth hormones and antibiotics.

Are Yoplait yogurt cups recyclable?

Are Yoplait yogurt cups recyclable?
Yoplait uses packaging material that allows us to offer safe, high quality products to consumers. The cardboard sleeves, trays and boxes that Yoplait products come in are fully recyclable, as are the bottles for Yoplait Yop drinkable yogurt.

For other types of containers, please check with your local municipality as to whether or not your particular city or town collects these materials for recycling. Yoplait yogurt cups are made of polystyrene, known as #6 plastic. Yoplait yogurt tubs are made of polypropylene, known as #5 plastic. Tubes and Yop bottles are made of high density polyethylene, while Yop bottle caps are made of low-density polyethylene. Minigo Pouches are made of #7 plastic, while the cap is made of high-density polyethylene plastic #2.

Why aren’t certain Yoplait products available in Canada that are available in other countries, such as the USA?

We’re constantly reviewing the Yoplait Canada product lineup to stay on top of the ever-changing needs and preferences of Canadian consumers. Please use the Contact link at the bottom of this page to tell us which products and flavours you would like to purchase in Canada.

Are your products certified by Aliments du Québec?

As we are a strong supporter of food grown and made in Canada, all our products are Aliments du Québec-certified except Minigo Drinkable, Yop, and Minigo Pouch. Aliments du Québec labels designate Québec food products. This means that our products (other than those mentioned above) contain at least 85% Québec-produced ingredients, and that all the processing and packaging activities were carried out in Québec.
